Born in Cali, Colombia, ISAbella grew up around her father's extensive collection of salsa records, but only discovered her love for mixing vinyl when she moved to Barcelona, at the age of 21. Over the past decade as a DJ, ISAbella has earned a growing local fan base, establishing herself as one of the most established DJs in the underground electronic music scene. Based in Spain, she is the founder of queer party and collective Maricas, known for shaping Barcelona's club scene by creating a safe space for queer people to enjoy house music. In 2020, ISabella launched the MARICAS Records label with her debut EP Audio Exótica and also headlined the livestream series MARICAS: The Art of Staying Home, which provided a ray of light during the darkness of lockdown. She has played at Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, Dekmantel, Nitsa, Circoloco, MELT, Boiler Room…
